The Chocolate Manifesto

I decided to offer these novelty chocolate bars after spending months tweeting the messages on them.

People really liked the tweets and I thought why not offer them as gifts you can share with others? After all, you could do more to lift someone’s mood than just by saying something funny. You could give them a mood booster – chocolate.

Chocolate contains certain chemicals which have an effect on Serotonin levels in the brain.

I’ve written a couple of articles about this which you can find on ezinearticles. This one in particular should give you some insight.

So what’s the Manifesto? The manifesto is to make sure that there is always something to make you smile and that’s why I decided to design these bars.

I’m a bit limited to write much tonight as I’m using an app (DH is using laptop) but if you have any questions regarding chocolate and its effect on the mood do leave a comment.

I’ll be back tomorrow talking more about chocolate.

  1. WOW! I am SO glad I found this blog thru the UBC! I really appreciate the “medical” support for chocolate in your Chocolate Facts post. More reasons to love chocolate! Not that I really needed any more. :-)

  2. I especially love “When no one understands you, chocolate is there.” It is! It is always loyal and makes me happy. Thanks for the reminder–off to find some!

  3. Love the chocolate bars cover ideas! Would make great gifts and of course, I would keep a few for me, too! What’s the healthiest chocolate to eat?

Thanks for stopping by Georgia. I would recommend dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa. As much as possible, aim for organic – for more flavour.

  4. I just love the idea of the Manifesto. I also love the chocolate and totally agree with the bar that says “if chocolate is the answer, the question is irrelevant”. Great one!!! Think I’ll go have some chocolate now :-). I am a new follower from the ultimate blog challenge.
