Where Chocolate and Fashion Meet

It’s the world’s largest event dedicated to chocolate. I’ve never attended but hope to this year.

It’s normally bitterly cold and I find it hard to concentrate on any thing when I’m cold. Or am I alone?

Salon du Chocolat 2012

Anyway, my favourite aspect is the Chocolate Catwalk. I like dressing up and looking at clothes as most women do.

It’s a bit more special though especially as there’s chocolate involved.

Do you find it as intriguing as I do? I absolutely love watching the stunning chocolate outfits.

How long would those truffles last on you?

There’s likely to be a Salon du Chocolat venue near you but whether or not the fashion show will hold there you’ll have to check.

Dark, White and Milk

So are you likely to attend or do chocolate and fashion not really catch your fancy?

  1. As much as I like, ok LOVE chocolate I will not attend any chocolate fashion because I’ll be eating non stop and probably will eat some model’s clothes off hahaha~

Same here DinoMama. I’m sure I’ll probably grab a truffle off the model’s neck when I’ve had enough of controlling myself.

  2. Oh wow! What fun! This looks like something out of Willy Wonka!

  3. Hmmm? I’ve not really given much thought to combining fashion with chocolate before :). Those on the runway looked pretty fantastic, though it makes you wonder HOW on earth they would ever sit down! How many outfits go on display? What do they do with them once the shows are over? And really…it must be VERY chilly at these events :).
    What an interesting idea.

Sit down? Come on Donna. I’m sure they put them on like 3 minutes before they go on the Runway. I don’t know how many outfits go on display. Now, as to what is done with them afterwards, I’m sure they get gobbled all up.
