What’s All the Fuss About Fairy Anyway?

Have you ever asked yourself that about Fairy products? It wasn’t till 2008 when I was expecting my first child that I really discovered Fairy. Before then, I always saw adverts but was never convinced from a price perspective.

A sample pack or 2 of Fairy detergent came in my Bounty pack. So I decided to try some. I was wowed but thought “It’s still too pricey. Let’s stick to something cheaper.”
My Fairy conversion started late last year when we moved house. At our old flat, I constantly tried to get the glasses cleaner using the dishwasher. Did all the salt top up and all but nothing worked.

So when we finally moved house and the dishwasher was a different make, I was pleased. It had to be the dishwasher was faulty I thought.
Well, when we got here, I bought the other F dishwasher tabs and a pack of Fairy dishwasher tabs. I never really used the Fairy till the day a friend said to me “It’s really worth buying Fairy dishwashing liquid you know. It lasts”.
I thought ok I’ll try it as I was so fed up of dishwashing liquid that were all foam and no soap. So I switched then also started using the tabs in the dishwasher.

At the supermarket, what I liked was the variety of Faury dishwashing liquids I found. I settled for the antibacterial. My house is clean but not to lab standards so I thought “Great here’s some protection.”
I loved the soap and when the dishwasher finished its cycle, I felt like a domestic queen.
Well, my kitchen tale is that I love cooking and have an adorable DH who is not a fussy eater. As such, I experiment a lot not like Heston or any thing. I just adjust recipes to the ingredients I have at home.

As much as I love cooking, I hate cooking in a dirty kitchen so always insist the kitchen is clean when asked to whip up something. Sometimes, I have to do the clean up though and love that at least Fairy does a quick yet effective job.
